This tutorial will help you if you didn’t find the cfc file.
Don’t let Windows errors hold you back.
We have a very innovative problem. We have updated a large CF application originally written in CF9 to CF2016 and then to CF2021. There is billing that runs as an organized task on a daily basis. This task billing performs dozens of steps (create, validate and pay) for checks. Many components (functions) are used during this process. We launched this new internet computer at the end of November 2021 and since then we have had 4 or 5 billing issues for this work.
I say “usually” because that “missing” component also changes and is usually different each time.
I’ve checked every section for errors, so this shouldn’t be the case, and most of the time your payment system works fine.
CF2021 was running Ubuntu 20.04 LTS, 4 CPUs, 4 GB RAM. Apart from this bill, the app is decent (users never encounter missing components)
I don’t rely on mappings either, I have my own process where I define the bean method in the cfm file and set the struct’request’ tour as follows:
in a file that could be included in
Application.cfc – actually actually it may not be perfect, but it’s still something he built years ago plus a lot of work to change it. (think).
I’ve been googling this for hours, I hope I missed any obvious commonalities like…
I’m using CF9 on IIS7. Simple autosuggestion followed/adapted by Lowe Ben Forta.
